Roskomnadzor reported damage to the main fiber-optic communication line in the Republic of Tatarstan.
Due to a cable break on the Tyulyachi - Novaya Tura section, internet slowdowns are observed in 21 regions of Russia. Problems with the deterioration of broadband internet access have affected at least 3.8 million users.
Currently, emergency recovery teams are working at the scene. According to Roskomnadzor, the estimated time for restoring communication is until 21:00 Moscow time.
