Zheleznogorsk JSC "RESHEТNЁV" continues to work on optimizing the production of domestic satellites. Currently, the company is creating and ready to test a technology for unifying the deployment of large-sized antennas and solar panels of spacecraft.
Equipment and tooling are already ready for the production and ground experimental testing of universal controlled braking devices, wireless sensors, electric motors, release devices, and force sensors.
These devices will ensure the deployment of onboard antennas and solar panels according to a given algorithm – in synchronous, sequential, or mixed mode. At the same time, there will be no need to change the design of the transformation system of large-sized mechanical systems. In 2025, it is planned to manufacture experimental samples of basic elements of deployment systems and conduct their design and refinement tests. The introduction of the technology for unifying the deployment of large-sized mechanical transformable systems will allow the company "RESHEТNЁV" to reduce the time to create space technology and reduce its cost.
Earlier, Reshetnev employees came up with how to make solar panels for Russian satellites lighter and simpler. Now they can be assembled using an automated tool.
