In 2024, a batch of Uran-6 multifunctional robotic demining systems was delivered to the engineering troops of the Central Military District (CMD). This was reported in the press service of the CMD.

The Uran-6 demining complex is a light armored vehicle with demining systems and remote control, designed to make passages in minefields and continuous clearing of the area from explosive objects and anti-personnel mines.

Main characteristics of the Uran-6 demining machine:

  • Weight in running order - 6000 kg
  • Track - 1230 mm
  • Engine power - 176 kW, 240 hp
  • Control and video transmission range: in an open area - up to 800 m, in urban conditions - up to 300 m
  • Weight of the remote control system - no more than 15 kg
