Belarus has expressed interest in building its own module on the Russian Orbital Station (ROS). This was stated in an interview by the Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Academician Vladimir Gusakov.

We know that Roscosmos has started working on the creation of the Russian Orbital Station. Of course, we want to participate both in its construction and in conducting research on it.

It is worth mentioning that the launch of the first scientific and energy module for the Russian Orbital Station (ROS) is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2027 using the modernized Angara-A5M heavy launch vehicle.

The deployment of the station will begin with the launch of the scientific and energy module in 2027. At the first stage, which will last until 2030, the nodal and gateway modules will be sent into space, after which the base module will be launched, which will take over the functions of controlling the station. The second stage includes the docking of two more target modules in the period from 2031 to 2033.
