At the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP), it is planned to replace foreign equipment with Russian equipment and transfer six power units of the station to the generation mode. This was announced by the director of the ZNPP, Yuri Chernichuk.
There is a lot of equipment at the ZNPP that was manufactured abroad. By the way, even before the introduction of sanctions, our sites also used equipment that was manufactured in Europe and America.
In addition, all six power units of the ZNPP will be transferred to the generation mode. This will provide electricity to all regions of Novorossiya and Donbass, as well as the Republic of Crimea.
The station will not operate alone by itself. It will be one large system. At a minimum, it will definitely be enough for all the new regions and Crimea.
Work on preparing the station's units for transfer to the generation mode will take place in 2025.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Russian nuclear power plants had completed the state task for electricity generation for 2024 ahead of schedule.
