Footage of the assembly line in one of the workshops of Uralvagonzavod (UVZ, part of Rostec) has appeared online. The transmission of the promising T-14 "Armata" tank was spotted there.
This may mean that as of the end of 2024, some work on the production of these tanks is still slowly ongoing.
The T-14 "Armata" is the main battle tank of the Russian army with an uninhabited turret based on the universal tracked platform "Armata." The manufacturer of the combat vehicle is Uralvagonzavod. Initially, the tank used an A-85-3A engine with a power of 1500 hp. The T-14 has the ability to launch missiles through the gun barrel.
Sergey Chemezov, General Director of the Rostec State Corporation, previously noted that the T-14 "Armata" is far superior in performance to existing domestic tanks, but is unlikely to be used on the front lines due to its high cost.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that the Russian Armed Forces had begun testing a new platform for drones called "Pchelka". This is a platform for lifting multiple copters into the air without catapults and transferring them to the area of task execution.
