From January to September 2024, the output of welding industry products in Russia increased by 22% compared to the same period in 2023, amounting to 11.8 billion rubles. This was announced by Mikhail Ivanov, Deputy Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, at the opening of an educational welding laboratory at MPEI.
Our task is not only to develop innovative domestic equipment, but also to train highly qualified personnel.
The educational welding laboratory was created with the support of PJSC "Mosenergo". It is divided into 2 zones: theoretical and practical. The practical zone has 7 arc welding stations, including:
- manual
- semi-automatic
- contact
- laser
- plasma cutting
Each station is a fully functional workplace for a student.
