The metropolitan automobile plant plans to start assembling new cars. This was reported by Avtopotok, citing information from a Drom portal source.
The Moscow Automobile Plant is working on a project to assemble cars with a new partner.
Who this partner is remains unknown. But it's definitely not about "Atom".
Earlier, the Moscow Automobile Plant summed up the results of 2024 and announced significant success in the field of production localization. Today, the Moskvich-3 crossover uses exclusively Russian-made batteries, tires, wheels, and glass, which indicates a high level of development of the domestic automotive industry.
The plant has also started production of Moskvich-3 hatchbacks with manual control. This car is designed for people with disabilities.
