«Аэродиск» запускает производство систем хранения данных на заводе в Твери

New facility allows increasing the production of DSS to 500 units per year

The Russian company Aerodisk has launched the production of data storage systems (DSS) at the Aquarius plant in Tver. The potential of the new site allows to significantly expand the production of finished systems, meeting the growing demand.

The capacity of the plant in Tver provides for the production of up to 500 DSS per year, which is five times higher than the previous figures. In the next two years, it is planned to bring this volume to 1,500 systems annually, demonstrating the company's confident ambitions in meeting customer needs and reaching a new level.

Previously, the production of DSS was carried out at Aerodisk's facilities and reached 100 units per year at its peak. However, these figures were not enough to cover the demand on a large scale. Now, the company's former site will be transformed into a modern R&D center, where it is planned to develop new products and prepare them for mass production.

As part of the development of the Tver site, it is planned to modernize the automated DSS testing system. This system will check the quality of equipment and automate the process of installing software through a centralized server. Such improvements will speed up the production process while maintaining high quality standards.

The development of the new plant will become the basis for the implementation of a full cycle of creating software and hardware complexes. In the future, it is planned to launch a full-fledged assembly line covering all stages of DSS development and production.
