During a direct line in Gostiny Dvor, the President of Russia Vladimir Putin was asked what he thinks about relocating the head offices of major companies to the regions. For example, the head office of RusHydro is moving to Krasnoyarsk. Here's what the head of state replied.
You mentioned RusHydro. When I appointed him to this position, or rather, when I gave my blessing to the future head, Viktor Viktorovich Khmarin, at RusHydro, I immediately said: are you ready to move to Krasnoyarsk? He says: "Yes." I say: "What about your wife?" - "She will agree." But this takes time, you need to have personnel in place. It's very difficult to drag people out of Moscow, not because they are lazy or don't want to go to Siberia. But children, schools, kindergartens, institutes, it's a complex process. And personnel need to be trained on the spot.
The head of state said that the authorities will definitely work to ensure that large companies, authorities and administrations move to the regions. He stressed that large production centers need to be distributed across the country.
We need to follow this path. We will try to do this.
According to him, the relocation of federal authorities to various centers of the country is pushing development. The politician called this process complex, but stressed that work in this direction will continue.
It should be reminded that RusHydro is one of the largest energy companies in Russia, specializing in the production of electricity from renewable sources, mainly hydroelectric power plants. The company operates many hydroelectric power plants and is actively developing projects in the field of alternative energy. It also participates in the modernization of energy infrastructure and the implementation of environmental initiatives.
