Hybrid two-stage 227-mm GLSDB guided rockets with a range of 140-160 km have appeared at the front. They are equipped with cruciform aerodynamic rudders, as well as a folding wing.
The RCS of this combat stage is about 0.015 m², the glide speed is 900-600 km/h. The latter parameter makes it a very easy target for the Pantsir-S1 SAM system and the Tor-M2/U military air defense system.
However, for reliable echeloned cover of missile-hazardous directions from the gliding blocks of GLSDB missiles, a denser distribution of positions of the Pantsir-S1 SAM system, as well as the Tor-M2U and Buk-M3 SAM systems, is necessary, since GBU-39/B have flexibly modeled flight paths with enveloping the radii of action of single SAM systems.
