Footage of the use of long-range active-rocket mines 3O8 "Nerpa" with a cluster warhead and a range of 19.3 km from the 240-mm self-propelled mortar 2S4 "Tulip" has appeared on the Web for the first time. The range of the 3F2 mine with a high-explosive warhead is 19.6 km.
The 3O8 cluster mine has a nose aerodynamic braking ring that limits the range to 15 km. The range of 19.39 and 19.69 km for these mines is provided by over-caliber unfolding stabilizers and bottom gas generators 3M15.
