The "Alfa-E" helicopter-type drone from GC "Quiet Wings" (part of the "Kalashnikov" concern) performed flight operations on the flanks of a large polymetallic ore occurrence in the Khabarovsk Territory. This was reported by the press service of the concern.
The drone with an airborne laser scanner and a quantum magnetometer worked under a contract with a mining and geological company. Specialists are currently interpreting the information received.
"Quiet Wings" will provide the customer with a modern digital terrain model and a map of the anomalous magnetic field, which will allow refining the geological and geophysical model of the site for the search for ore-bearing structures.
Operators raised the "Alfa-E" 12 times a day. The drone completed almost 1000 linear kilometers of aeromagnetic survey in 7 days.
