Russian 3D Printer for Printing Houses Earned in Siberia

The printer allows you to build full-fledged one-story and two-story buildings for housing, work and social sphere

Tomsk State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering conducted a technical launch of a 3D printer for printing construction objects. At the site of the laboratory of the Scientific and Educational Center "Additive Construction of Siberia", engineers from TSUAB and Smart build Service will develop special materials and technologies for printing houses and social facilities in Siberia.

The printer with dimensions of 4x6x4 meters allows you to build full-fledged one-story and two-story buildings for housing, work and social sphere.

We have been working on the technology for five years. The latest iteration of this printer has been brought to TSUAB. Together with scientists, we have to understand how materials will behave in Siberia and how the printing technology can be improved. Next year, our company will start building houses in Altai. Therefore, today's launch of the printer is more relevant than ever. The laboratory results obtained will be applied in real production.

The Additive Technology Center also plans to introduce 3D construction modules into existing educational programs. It also plans to conduct scientific research by graduate and undergraduate students with the publication of articles and the defense of dissertations.
