The first technology park in Russia dedicated to metallurgy has opened in the Orenburg region. It is named "Mashtab".
Dmitry Kulakov, First Deputy Minister of Industry and Energy of the region, reported that this technology park will develop technologies for metallurgical production and implement them at the country's enterprises. According to him, there are plans to create laboratories and engineering centers for the residents of the technology park in the future.
The key resident of the technology park is Rusnickel LLC, which plans to implement a project based on the former Buruktal Nickel Plant in 2024-2030. The area of the technology park will be 22.3 hectares, and the area of the buildings will be 54,000 square meters.
