Пилотируемый корабль «Союз МС-27» доставили на Байконур

It will begin preparations for the flight to the ISS

The piloted spacecraft "Soyuz MS-27" has arrived at the Baikonur Cosmodrome to prepare for its flight to the International Space Station. It was unloaded and installed for incoming inspection and further storage in the assembly and testing facility of Site 254.

Specialists from the Rocket and Space Corporation "Energia" named after S.P. Korolev (part of Roscosmos) conducted an external inspection of the spacecraft and checked the mechanism for deploying the solar panels.

After the initial acceptance, the first stage of spacecraft preparation will begin, including test activations of its systems, which will last until the end of December 2024.

Then, "Soyuz MS-27" will be transferred to storage mode until preparations for launch continue.

The launch of the "Soyuz-2.1a" carrier rocket with the piloted spacecraft "Soyuz MS-27" from Site 31 of the Baikonur Cosmodrome is scheduled for March 2025. Its crew includes participants in the 73rd long-duration expedition to the ISS — Roscosmos cosmonauts Alexei Zubritsky and Sergei Ryzhikov, and NASA astronaut Jonathan Kim.
