Современный российский электромобиль за 1 млн рублей: «Автотор» скоро представит новинку

However, this amount does not include the cost of the battery

The Avtotor plant in Kaliningrad plans to launch the production of a compact electric car from April to June 2025. By the end of 2024, the first prototypes, manufactured on the basis of the Moscow Polytechnic University, will be ready. This was announced by Alexander Sorokin, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Avtotor Holding.

The head did not disclose the technical parameters of the new model and did not name the timing of its market launch. The preliminary price of the electric car is 1 million rubles, but this cost does not include the battery, which will be provided for rent.

Of course, there will be a battery, but the buyer will not pay for it, but will make small payments during charging.

When the battery capacity drops to 70% or less, it must be replaced with a new one. At the same time, a used battery can be used in stationary power sources.

As a reminder, in Russia, the production of electric vehicles has grown by almost 80% in a year. Currently, there are models from four Russian companies on the market: Evolute, Lada, Moskvich, and Ambertruck. In mid-2025, mass production of the Atom electric car, developed by KAMAZ engineers, will begin.

Earlier www1.ru reported that in Russia, electric car owners are increasingly choosing to live outside the city. The reason is that it is easier to charge the car.
