The Russian Mi-28NM reconnaissance helicopter has become even faster due to a change in the rotor design. This was reported by military expert Evgeny Damantsev.
He noted that the newest main rotor with saber-shaped blade tips increases the maximum speed of the machine to 332-335 km/h. The new blades reduce the negative aerodynamic effects that occur in helicopters of the classic design at high speeds.
The modernized Mi-28NM helicopters, taking into account the experience of the operation in Syria, have been entering the Russian army aviation since 2019.
