The enemy has begun to counteract the operation of the "Geran-2" and "Gerbera" strike drones by spoofing GPS coordinates. To neutralize this, the combat equipment needs to be equipped with new technologies, noted military expert Evgeny Damantsev.
According to him, the method is called "spoofing" — intercepting satellite coordinates.
In order to neutralize such a technique, it is required to develop modern inertial navigation modules for "Geran" and "Gerbera". They need to be synchronized with optoelectronic correlation modules that compare landscape elements on a low-altitude route with pre-loaded reference digital ones. Modern digital computers with AI are capable of processing this information.
