Severstal has increased supplies of high-strength Powerhard 450 metal to BelAZ, a manufacturer of mining equipment. In 2024, it is planned to supply 18 thousand tons of rolled metal products. This was reported by the company's press service.
The company's press service explained that high-strength steel is used for the production of BelAZ mining dump truck bodies. Its wear resistance is 2 times higher than that of conventional steel grades.
