Russian "Progress MS-28" Cargo Ship Saves ISS from Space Debris

Thanks to it, the ISS orbit was promptly adjusted, and a collision was avoided

Roscosmos announced an additional correction of the ISS orbit due to the threat of collision with space debris. The station was saved on the night of November 20 by the Russian "Progress MS-28" cargo ship.

At 23:09 Moscow time, the engines of the "Progress MS-28" cargo ship were activated, which operated for 330.90 seconds and delivered an impulse of 0.5 m/s, which allowed increasing the ISS orbit by approximately 800 meters. After the maneuver, the station's orbital period was 92.86 minutes, the orbital inclination was 51.66 degrees, the average orbital altitude was 417.35 km, the minimum was 416.20 km, and the maximum was 430.86 km.
