Units of the newest light single-engine fifth-generation Su-75 Checkmate fighter are in a high stage of development. This was announced to journalists by the general designer of the novelty, Deputy General Director of the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC, part of Rostec) Sergei Korotkov.
According to him, among foreign partners there are already customers who are aimed at buying such machines.
The corporation continues to conduct these developments. The market, according to our assessment, has a demand for such equipment. We showed the layout. But the units are in a good stage of development, and are already used in other systems.
The maximum combat load of the Su-75 is 7400 kg, the flight range without external fuel tanks is 2900 km at a speed of up to 1.8 Mach, which is one of the best indicators in its class.
