The company "PROMAGROTEKHNOLOGII" (part of the SOLAR FIELDS Group and the Rosspetsmash Association) has presented an updated chisel plow of the PCH(U)N EURO series with a working width of 5 meters. It loosens the soil to a depth of 35-40 cm, preserving moisture and the natural structure of the soil.
The PCH EURO series deep rippers are equipped with shanks with chisels, a pair of side blades, and a double ring-spur roller. The depth of soil cultivation is adjusted using hydraulic cylinders. The support wheels participate in adjusting the depth, but their main task is to take on a significant part of the load, increasing the service life of the implement and the tractor. Chisel shanks effectively destroy the plow pan and cut the roots of weeds, and the side blades additionally cut and lift the soil layer. The double ring-spur roller crushes clods, leaving a uniform soil surface.
The new chisel plow works in tandem with tractors with a working width of more than 4 meters and a capacity of 350 to 480 hp. It completely covers the wheel track of tractors, which creates soil compaction.
According to the manufacturers, this deep ripper is equipped with a tandem ring-spur roller in 2 rows. Depending on the processing goals and agro background, the roller can be adjusted to work in active, passive, or combined modes.
