More Noise: "Uralvagonzavod" Acknowledges Huge Potential of Half-Century-Old T-72 Tank

The T-72 tank, adopted in 1973, has not lost its relevance for further modernization. This was reported by the Uralvagonzavod state concern.

They noted that the T-72 is the most numerous and fighting combat vehicle in the world in the class of main battle tanks. It has huge reserves for modernization, which have not been exhausted even today.

At the moment, the latest modification of the T-72 family of tanks is the T-72B3M. This combat vehicle has improved characteristics, is equipped with the latest auxiliary equipment and more powerful weapons, the basis of which is a 125 mm gun with improved ballistics and service life.
