Starting January 2025, the production of Kia Rio sedans and station wagons under the Solaris brand will begin in Russia. According to "Russian Automobile", at least 6,000 cars are planned to be produced.
According to our sources at AGR, the production of two modifications of Kia Rio will begin in January – a regular sedan and a raised hatchback (essentially a station wagon). Of course, under the Solaris brand.
According to information received from a source, the manufacturer is expected to produce from 6 to 8 thousand cars.
As a reminder, cars that were previously produced at the Hyundai plant in St. Petersburg and were known as Hyundai Creta, Kia Rio, Kia Rio X-Line, and Hyundai Solaris are sold at official dealers under the Solaris brand.
Earlier, AGR, which produces cars under the Solaris brand, announced a price increase for its models.
