At Perm Polytechnic University (PNIPU), a method has been created for designing a blade structure with variable geometry. It allows to automatically adapt to changes in loads at any time. This was reported by the university's press service.
The development includes three software blocks. A mathematical model for calculating blade deformation at given parameters. Construction of an experiment matrix to visually demonstrate their operation under different loads. The third block is for calculating the structural parameters of the blade when the twist angle changes.
Controlling the twist angle prevents the occurrence of turbulent flow along the blade wake, reducing noise and vibration of the helicopter's main rotor. We have identified the main variable parameters of the blade structure with different skin materials.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that Rostec has import-substituted control and autopilot systems for the Ansat helicopter.
