One of the most unique technical features of the fifth-generation Su-57 multirole fighters is the multi-element dual-band N036 Belka onboard radar system.
It is built on the basis of at least five active phased array antennas integrated into the nose of the fuselage. The main element of the complex is the high-energy onboard radar N036 based on an active phased array antenna.
The transceiver modules are capable of forming dips in the radiation pattern in the direction of the sources of electronic jamming.
This achieves a high noise immunity coefficient for this radar. The detection range of targets with an RCS of 3 m² can reach 400 km, with an RCS of 0.1 m² - 160 km, and with an RCS of 0.03 m², which is equivalent to SCALP-EG cruise missiles, up to 100 km. The throughput of the N036 reaches 62 simultaneously tracked targets in the scan, with the ability to accurately auto-track 16 air targets.
Earlier,www1.ru reported that an effective way to protect against FPV drones on fiber optics has been found: the Pantsir and Strela air defense systems will leave the birds no chance.
