The Russian fifth-generation multirole fighter Su-57 is the only one in the world to have demonstrated effectiveness in countering the US-made Patriot air defense systems. This was announced by the head of the Rostec State Corporation, Sergey Chemezov.
Today, the Su-57 is the only fifth-generation fighter in the world that has proven its effectiveness in countering modern Western air defense systems, including Patriot, IRIS-T, and NASAMS.
According to him, the aircraft successfully performs combat missions at the front and can use the most modern means of destruction, including low-observable Kh-69 cruise missiles.
Rostec added that the fighter will be the "star" of the Russian exposition at the Airshow China exhibition in China. It is capable of using guided high-precision weapons and has low visibility to detection equipment.
