The first photo has appeared online showing the inside of the compartment of the Russian fifth-generation Su-57 fighter for short-range missiles.
The published shot shows a Su-57 with an open compartment in the wing, which is designed for the advanced air-to-air missile R-74 (R-77). The movement of missiles in internal compartments provides fifth-generation fighters with a reduced radar signature.
R-77 is a further development of the Soviet R-73. The missile with combined aerogasdynamic control and an infrared guidance system is designed to destroy aerial targets at any time of the day. The maximum launch range of the R-77 is 40 km.
Earlier www1.ru wrote that the Russian Navy will receive the first combat icebreaker "Ivan Papanin" with "Kalibr" and "Uran" missiles in the summer of 2025. The ship was built at the "Admiralty Shipyards."
