In October, the average price of a used car in Russia, costing more than 1.5 million rubles, decreased by 5.7% year-on-year and amounted to 2.5 million rubles. This data is provided in a study by Avito Auto.
According to the report, the supply of cars in this price segment increased by 41% compared to the previous year, and the demand for them increased by 8.4%.
The leader in demand in October was the Toyota brand, which accounted for 15.2% of the total number of requests. Mercedes-Benz was in second place with 10.9%, and BMW was in third place with 10.8%. The top five also included Kia and Hyundai, with shares of 9% and 6.8%, respectively. Among specific models, the most popular were Toyota Camry (6.1%), Toyota Land Cruiser (2.5%) and Mercedes-Benz E-Class (2.3%).
In terms of the number of offers on Avito Auto, the Toyota brand also led, accounting for 11.8% of the total. Kia was in second place with 9.5%, and BMW was in third place with 9.3%. Toyota Camry also became the leader in the number of ads, accounting for 3.3% of all offers in October.
