"Heavier the eggs - lower the altitude." Former pilot explained why nothing will change in the training of military helicopter and aircraft crews

Author of the Telegram channel Fighterbomber: no new methods of crew training have been introduced and will not be introduced

Recently, www1.ru published an article stating that Russian military pilots will be trained according to new programs, taking into account the combat experience of recent years. Our publication drew the attention of a retired pilot, the author of the Telegram channel Fighterbomber, who expressed the opinion that fundamentally new training methods will not appear, since the current program has already reached the maneuverability characteristics of combat vehicles back in the 1980s.

According to him, the entire necessary level of knowledge is provided by the combat training course adopted in Russian military schools. Future pilots are not recommended to hone the program faster than is laid down in the course. However, in modern realities, it is impossible not to do this, because a capable pilot masters the material much faster than was necessary before, especially in the current environment, the retired military pilot noted.

It's like looking for new angles in navigation and bombing, which are completely based on sines and cosines calculated millennia ago. Simple, complex, aerobatics, flight at extremely low altitude, diving, cabriing, overcoming air defense - all this is already taken into account in the CBT. The minimum altitude for overcoming enemy air defense is directly proportional to the weight of the crew's eggs and linearly obeys the law of gravity: the heavier the eggs, the lower the altitude.

The author of the Telegram channel admitted that in the future the course will invariably be supplemented with additions, but it will not be necessary to fundamentally change anything, but only to refine individual elements.

Earlier it became known that Uralvagonzavod put into production "barbecue grills" for armored vehicles.
