Ульяновский станкостроительный завод возобновил работу после передачи государству

In 2024, it will produce 35 high-precision CNC machines, and in 2025 — already 250 machines

The Investment Portal of the Ulyanovsk Region announced the restart of the enterprise. In early 2024, the plant was transferred to Rosimushchestvo by the Japanese-German holding DMG MORI, which had left Russia, and it took more than six months to restart the plant.

Currently, the Ulyanovsk Machine Tool Plant has 16 turning and 23 milling processing centers, and components are being assembled for fifteen machines. The management of the region visited the plant and promised support in its activities.

The regional government will assist in finding suppliers of components and building industrial cooperation. We are also working on localizing the production of key components of machine tool construction. Our region has strong machine tool construction traditions. We are working to revive these competencies. The Ulyanovsk plant could become the center of a new regional machine tool cluster. Another big task is to establish the production of gantry machines in the Ulyanovsk region.
Алексей Русских, Governor of the Ulyanovsk Region

By the end of the year, the plant intends to produce 35 high-precision CNC machines from warehouse stocks and receipts under concluded and existing contracts. They will be sent to enterprises in the Ulyanovsk Region. In 2025, it is planned to produce 250 machines for enterprises throughout Russia.

Currently, the plant employs 77 people, and it is planned to increase the number of employees to one hundred by the end of the year.
