The state corporation is fulfilling the state defense order at almost 100%

Rostec has increased the production of weapons for the Russian army. This was announced at a meeting in the Federation Council by the head of the state corporation Sergey Chemezov.

Compared to 2022, in 2023, ammunition production increased tenfold, artillery rounds — more than sixfold, tank rounds — more than 30 times, close combat weapons — 14 times, rockets for MLRS and TOS — more than six times.

Close contacts with the military, regular feedback from the front line — all this helps us to improve the combat qualities and protection of equipment, to create new demanded products. Many products have been created or significantly improved taking into account combat experience.
Sergey Chemezov, head of Rostec State Corporation

He also recalled that 80% of weapons and military equipment used on the front line are produced at Rostec enterprises.

Earlier, The National Interest called the Russian T-72 tank the greatest in the world. Journalists stated Russia's ability to mass-produce modern modifications of the combat vehicle.
