Without "Stealth" Technology: Military Watch Magazine Names Problem of Su-57 Fighter Equipped with Kh-59 Missiles

Fifth-generation Su-57 fighter carried Kh-59 missiles on external hardpoints

A video has appeared online showing a fifth-generation Su-57 fighter of the Russian Aerospace Forces carrying two Kh-59M2 "Ovod-M2" cruise missiles on external hardpoints. In fact, this negated the stealth characteristics of the aircraft, writes Military Watch Magazine.

Fifth-generation Su-57 fighters are designed with a reduced radar cross-section (RCS) to enhance stealth. However, missiles on external hardpoints increase the RCS, depriving it of "stealth" technology.
