The Kinigsepp Machine-Building Plant (KMZ) military-industrial holding has created the RPK-640 boat. This was reported by the company's press service.
The vessel is designed for inspection work, patrolling, and operational tasks. It can be used as an official transport and rescue watercraft.
RPK-640 is a serially produced boat equipped with a reliable and powerful outboard gasoline engine. It is stable, perfectly controllable, instantly planes, and has the highest reliability rating.
The superstructure of the boat's cabin is designed with a reverse glazing angle. This approach increases space and prevents glare from the control panel instruments on the windshields.
A hinged door on gas struts and a swing gate are provided for passage into the bow cockpit. The stern door allows for quick evacuation in case of danger. It is a double-leaf, swing-open design.
To prevent water accumulation in the under-deck compartments, 3 drainage pumps are provided. Maintaining buoyancy in emergency situations is ensured by voluminous floating blocks.
