Representatives of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (engaged in improving shipping standards and ensuring safety at sea) and CDB ME "Rubin" signed an agreement on the development of technical documentation for autonomous unmanned underwater vehicles "Amulet-S" and remotely operated unmanned underwater vehicles "Talisman-S".
The technical documentation prepared by CDB ME "Rubin" specialists will help to establish the production of robotic systems in accordance with the regulatory framework.
The Russian Maritime Register of Shipping stated that several hundred unmanned underwater vehicles of various types will appear in Russia in the next 10 years. They can be used in various sectors of the economy, including the oil and gas industry. This is necessary to ensure the technological sovereignty of the country.
