The United States will send one of its Nimitz-class aircraft carriers to the exercises, along with its accompanying destroyers and submarines. The cruiser will carry F/A-18 Super Hornet aircraft.

INS Vikramaditya is the flagship of the Indian Navy. The Northern Machine-Building Enterprise (Severodvinsk) modernized the Russian cruiser "Admiral Gorshkov." The ship was transferred to India in November 2013.
