The capital's authorities plan to launch a new electric boat route along the Moskva River in 2025. This route will be the third for regular marine transport in the city. It will help create new routes.
Thanks to the new route, it will be possible to get from the "Derbenevskaya Embankment" pier to the "Torpedo" stop in 10 minutes. Currently, it takes four times longer to travel by public transport and metro.
From the "Simonovsky" pier to the "Derbenevskaya Embankment" stop, the journey will take only 20 minutes. At the same time, it now takes 40 minutes by buses and metro.
It is worth noting that river transport is gaining popularity. Since the launch of electric boats in Moscow, about 1.3 million trips have been made. It is expected that this figure will reach 1.5 million by the end of the year.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the number of river transport passengers in the Russian Federation will grow to 19 million by 2030 — Ministry of Transport.
