Two Ionosfera-M Satellites Will Leave Earth with a Payload

According to Roscosmos, at Vostochny, specialists have already transported the satellite from the refueling station's refueling and neutralization hall to the spacecraft assembly and testing facility.

The booster block has been placed in its working position after refueling, and preparations for launch are ongoing. The date when "Fregat" will launch the Ionosfera-M satellites No. 1 and No. 2 and the accompanying payload into orbit has not yet been announced.

"First Technical" has already reported on the unique Russian project for working with space weather, "Ionosond," which the Ionosfera-M satellites will help implement. They were planned to be launched in 2022-2023, but the project has only now been revisited.
