Renovated and opened: Rizhsky Railway Station reopens in Moscow

Reconstruction took a year and a half

The renovated Rizhsky Railway Station has opened in Moscow. The reconstruction lasted a year and a half. All station facilities are now open again.

The modernization affected the railway tracks, which were rebuilt for the launch of the MCD-4. The control systems have been converted to digital format.

The station has two new platforms with modern lighting, canopies and navigation. Each of them is 270 meters long.

As a reminder, the Moscow-Rizhskaya station was closed for reconstruction on March 1, 2023.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that the Leningradsky Railway Station will be closed for repairs from August 11.
