Two large industrial clusters are planned for construction in New Moscow (TiNAO): automotive and eco-industrial. They will be deployed in areas allocated by the city for large-scale investment projects, which will create more than 23,000 high-tech jobs.
The automotive cluster will be located near the village of Kostishovo and will cover 236 hectares. More than one million square meters of industrial space will be built here for manufacturers of body parts, electronics, instruments and automotive components. This cluster is expected to create about 17,000 jobs.
The eco-industrial cluster will be located near the Malinki landfill and will occupy 100 hectares. It will include enterprises for processing electrical equipment, plastics, construction waste and the production of recycled materials. This cluster will create about 6,000 jobs, and the total area of production facilities will be 700,000 square meters.
Currently, four intersectoral clusters are already operating in Moscow: electric vehicle manufacturing, photonics and microelectronics, pharmaceuticals, and the Federal Center for Unmanned Aircraft Systems, which unite over 140 leading manufacturers and provide employment for more than 24,000 people. Food and construction clusters are also being actively formed in the Krasnopakhorsky district, which will provide 350 hectares of land and create more than 41,400 jobs.
