Число зарядных станций для электротранспорта в Москве увеличится до 30 тысяч к 2030 году

Количество электромобилей к этому времени составит от 100 тысяч до 300 тысяч

By 2030, it is planned to install up to 30,000 charging stations for electric vehicles in Moscow, said the Mayor of Moscow, Sergei Sobyanin. According to forecasts, the city will have from 100,000 to 300,000 electric vehicles registered by this time, and there will also be many delivery robots and other electric transport.

Several solutions are provided to achieve this goal. One of them is a pilot project to install AC charging stations based on transformer substations located in city courtyards. This will allow electric car owners to charge them both at night and at any other convenient time. If the project is successful, the capacity of such courtyard charging stations will be expanded.

Also, new rules were adopted in Moscow for the placement of charging infrastructure during the construction and reconstruction of urban facilities. According to the new requirements, developers need to equip 5% of parking spaces with charging stations and provide connection of engineering infrastructure for future charging stations in 25-100% of parking spaces, depending on the type of object.

These measures are part of the Strategy for the Development of Engineering and Communal Infrastructure of the city. This strategy aims to meet the current and future needs of Muscovites and businesses in electricity, gas, heat and water, as well as to adapt the city's infrastructure to the growing number of electric vehicles.
