Domestic operators are integrating special solutions into their networks to bypass the blocking of the YouTube platform. These measures have been taken against the backdrop of the absence of an official statement from Russian regulators regarding the slowdown of the video hosting service.
According to one of the sources in the telecom market, more than 10 cases of YouTube acceleration have been recorded. One of the operators' messages stated that user traffic is being redirected from Russian Google servers to European ones.
Some operators are looking for opportunities to attract new subscribers before the active season by using circumvention tools. At the same time, they expect that responsibility for them is unlikely, since there is no official ban on YouTube, such operators interpret this in their favor
It is worth noting that problems with YouTube have been noted since August 1 of this year. Now the platform does not play videos in Russia. In addition, Google Payments disabled monetization for all Russian bloggers.
