The Avtotor electric motor plant cost more than 3 billion rubles. However, it is предполагается расширение линейки продукции: electric motors for small electric vehicles, lifting equipment, boats. The company intends to install equipment for assembling an electric power plant "three in one": electric motor, gearbox, inverter.
The Kaliningrad plant is part of a production cluster of 12 factories for the production of electric vehicles and auto components, which «Автотор Холдинг» plans to launch. The total investment in this project, taking into account current obligations, will exceed 70 billion rubles.
