Россияне за рубежом смогут подтверждать право на получение пенсии при помощи биометрии

New service launched on the "Gosuslugi" portal

A new service has been launched on the "Gosuslugi" portal. It allows Russian citizens living abroad to confirm their eligibility for pensions using biometrics. This was reported in the office of Deputy Prime Minister — Head of the Government Staff of the Russian Federation Dmitry Grigorenko.

The procedure for confirming the right to receive a pension has been simplified for Russians living abroad. In particular, citizens can confirm their identity remotely using biometrics. The corresponding service has been launched on the "Gosuslugi" portal.

It is worth noting that all Russian citizens abroad must notify the Social Fund of Russia (SFR) of their status annually in order to receive a pension. Previously, this could be done by sending notarized documents to the SFR or by contacting the Russian consulate.

Now it is possible to remotely confirm the status on the "Gosuslugi" portal. To do this, you need to go to the "Departments" tab and open the "SFR" section. After confirming the data about the place of residence, the service generates applications based on biometrics.

In addition, the application must be signed with an enhanced unqualified electronic signature in the "Gosklyuch" application. Access to this service is opened after biometric verification.

The new service will save on notarial services and eliminate the need for in-person confirmation of status in special institutions.

Earlier www1.ru reported that the application "Gosklyuch" is reliably protected.
