Yandex's delivery robots start delivering orders from Pyaterochka stores

Yandex's delivery robots have started delivering orders from Pyaterochka and Perekrestok stores, placed through the Yandex Eats and Delivery apps.

Delivery will be available in five districts of Moscow, including Airport, Tverskoy, Khamovniki, Ramenki and Presnensky, as well as in the city of Murino, Leningrad Region, and Innopolis in Tatarstan. Delivery timeframes will remain the same, and the weight of the order should not exceed 15 kg.

The robot courier can be tracked via the app, and to receive the order, users must press the "Open lid" button on the screen.

X5 Group, which manages the Pyaterochka and Perekrestok chains, and Yandex have begun collaborating on robot delivery of orders. It is expected that the number of X5 stores connected to robot delivery will exceed 30 in two weeks, and this number will increase.
