The Ministry of Digital Development of the Russian Federation has announced a significant expansion of the functionality of the "Gosuslugi" platform. Now, users will be able to choose the nearest notary, schedule a convenient time for a visit, specify the notarial action, and also find out the list of necessary documents and send their electronic copies in advance to prepare for the appointment.
6,000 notaries across the country are connected to the service, which is more than 70% of their total number. Starting in July 2024, residents of Moscow will be able to make appointments with notaries through "Gosuslugi".
On the platform, you can choose the nearest notary, schedule a convenient time for a visit, and specify the type of notarial action. Information is also available on the necessary documents, which can be sent electronically in advance to prepare for the meeting. To use the new service, you will need a confirmed account on "Gosuslugi".
The notary appointment service is most popular in the Moscow region, St. Petersburg, the Krasnodar Territory, the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, and the Rostov region.
Most often, users sign up for the certification of powers of attorney, the opening of an inheritance case, the execution of spousal consent for a transaction, the certification of wills, and a property donation transaction.
