Pre-flight checks of "Progress MS-28" continue at Baikonur. The truck's solar panels, which will operate for two days during its flight, have already been tested.
There is a special installation at the cosmodrome for testing solar panels: an artificial "Sun".
There are more than 100 lamps in a special stand, each with a power of about 500 watts. They simulate sunlight and the batteries start to generate electric current. In fact, checking their efficiency does not take much time - only a few minutes.
The truck still has several tests ahead, loading cargo for the ISS crew, assembly with "Soyuz" and transportation to the launch site. The launch of "Progress MS-28" to the ISS is scheduled for August 15, its broadcast will be conducted in the social networks of "Roscosmos."
