Russian S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems confidently cope with Western ATACMS and Storm Shadow missiles, requiring 30 to 90 seconds to eliminate them. This was reported to the "Red Star" publication by the Deputy Commander of the Air Defense Division, Colonel Andrei T.
The military man noted that exactly the same time is enough to intercept the Neptune missile. According to him, during the operation of the command post, the operational duty officer constantly provides information about the directions from which a strike is possible, the approximate number of targets, and the flight time to the defended object.
According to the experience of using weapons by the S-400 division, it took mainly from 30 to 90 seconds to shoot down an American ATACMS ballistic missile, an Anglo-French Storm Shadow cruise missile, or a Neptune cruise missile.

- Altitude of destruction — up to 27 km

- Number of simultaneously fired targets by one SAM system — up to 6
