Новая тактика без GPS: российские дроны-разведчики наводят ракеты «Искандер» на объекты противника

Eurasian Times: навигационная система активируется, когда БПЛА находится прямо над целью

Russian military personnel have changed their tactics for using reconnaissance drones on the front lines, now launching them without GPS. The navigation system activates when the UAV is directly over the target, which is then struck by Iskander missiles. This is according to the Eurasian Times.

This method makes it more difficult for the enemy to detect UAVs and counter them, as Russian drones are difficult to track until they are in position to perform reconnaissance or strike missions.

The Eurasian Times writes that Russian military personnel use about 50 reconnaissance drones daily, including Orlan and Geran. UAVs conduct continuous reconnaissance.
